Lancement du Seaweed Manifesto
Le Manifesto sur les algues initié par la Fondation Lloyd's Register et UN Global compact a été mis en ligne: http://www.seaweedmanifesto.com/. De nombreuses organisations ont exprimé leur soutien, dont la Station Biologique de Roscoff, le CEVA, etc ... Ce que nous avons en commun, comme il est dit sur le site du manifeste, c'est que nous «croyons au potentiel de l'aquaculture des algues, et que nous partageons la vision d'une industrie des algues responsable pour restaurer le potentiel des océans».
